We also have a limited number of volunteer opportunities available!  It’s kind of like a job but you don’t have to work as many hours and we say thanks with golf perqs!

Positions Available:

Assistant Superintendent:  Do you have experience or education in Turf Management?  Have you completed your Pesticide certificate or interested in pursuing it?  Like working outdoors, driving equipment and leading projects?  Do you golf and appreciate the finer details of a well manicured course?  You must have a valid drivers license and be ready and able to complete labour activities outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.  Email resume to Craig@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Ground Maintenance:  Like working outside?  Don’t mind getting dirty?  Want some variety in your day?  Enjoy getting up early to work so you still have lots of the day available for golf or other hobbies?  Our maintenance crew performs a variety of labour activities that keep our course in top shape!  You could be mowing one day, changing pins another, fixing irrigation breaks, helping with projects, emptying garbage or general labour work – you’ll stay busy and active!  You must have a valid drivers license and be ready and able to complete labour activities outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.  Email resume to Craig@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Cooks:  We’re a full service restaurant, a large event caterer and sometimes just a hamburger stand.  If you’re looking for a fast paced job where you do everything from line cook to catering an event for 150+ people, this is the kitchen for you!  You need FOODSAFE Level 1 certification and previous kitchen experience is an asset, but we will train the right people even if you haven’t worked in a kitchen before!  Email resume to gm@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Servers:  This job is all about service and variety!  Our Servers work inside, patio, beverage cart and snack shack and days range from your normal golf and local traffic to huge tournament and event days where we’re serving 150+ people who are all out having a great day of golf!  We’re busiest on league nights (Tues – Thurs) and events so expect to work evenings and weekends.  You’ll need your Serving it Right certification and previous serving experience is an asset, but we will train the right people even if you haven’t been a server before!  Email resume to gm@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Pro Shop Attendants:  Do you enjoy golf and have a good understanding of the game?  Want to work in an environment where you get to talk about golf all day?  Are you a quick learner, experienced in customer service and multi-tasking?  Pro Shop Attendants book tee times, check in golfers, sell golf merchandise, promote our programs and events, stage golf carts and learn to answer some of the strangest questions.  It’s a job that keeps you on your toes and no two days are ever really the same!  Email resume to Larry@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Outside Services:  Do you like working outside?  Like to have variety in your job?  Outside Services Attendants perform a variety of duties including cleaning and fueling golf carts, cleaning and maintaining golf equipment, operating equipment to pick and clean range balls, and assisting in event set up, take down and clean up.  It’s a great first job or retirement job!  Email resume to Larry@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Tournament Assistants (Volunteer):  Enjoy being part of great tournaments even if you’re not golfing in them!  Tournament Assistants complete a variety of tasks for our large tournaments which can include staging carts, putting out signage, acting as the Players’ Assistant (Marshall), completing registration, set up, etc.  We need a commitment for our key tournament dates, weekly leagues and/or weekends and we’ll say thinks with golf perqs.  You need to have strong customer service skills, knowledge of the game of golf and Lone Wolf services, ability to learn quickly and work independently and be a great Lone Wolf Ambassador.  We may also have a limited number of positions for people who wish to do light labour activities, working outside.  Email resume to Larry@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Volunteer Program Terms and Conditions

Supervised Play – Juniors (Volunteer):  Help us help the new generation of Juniors get time out on the course to develop their golf skills.  You don’t need to have strong (or any) golf skills, you just need to agree to book at least 6 tee times on Mondays over the summer and take a group of Juniors on the course. You need to be patient, supportive, complete a criminal reference check, commit to the Code of Conduct, attend an orientation session and be a great Lone Wolf Ambassador.  Email resume to Larry@lonewolfgolf.ca.

Supervised Play Program Terms and Conditions

These positions are seasonal, with scheduled hours varying through the open season (generally April – Thanksgiving, Maintenance positions may start earlier).  Customer service positions are busiest on league nights, weekends and special events, although we can provide some schedule flexibility, employees can expect to work evenings and weekends and there is limited availability for time off during the season.
